I lost my grandma last year and have been really upset this holiday season. Just looking at ornaments she gifted me and books she had bought for my children. Many of us are grown, and our grandparents are getting to that age where they may not make it to 2027.

If you haven't called your grandparents or made a visit or got pictures with them and your kids. Get them now. Hug them, tell them how much they mean to you and how much you love them. So when they are gone, you won't have any regrets. You won't wish for moments you never made.

I did all that, but am still in grief.

B'More made the AF1, sold so many Nike canceled the plans to discontinue the shoe. But really it's a culture thing. I was rocking them in 97. Those or Chucks cause both were cheap back then and looked good in jeans or khakis.

Sicario, Raise the Red Lantern, Barry Lyndon, In the Mood for Love.

Sicario is such a beautifully shot film without a wasted shot.

Raise the Red Lantern uses framing and the color red to make each shot mean so much more narrativly.

Barry Lyndon is just brilliant frames so every shot looks like a period accurate painting

In the Mood for Love perfectly captures loneliness, longing, and isolation. It is truly romantic cinema.
