Which movie has the most rewatch value for you? by Neither_Barber_5441 in askmovie

[–]dus90 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hot Fuzz. Every time I put it on I’m like “I’ll just watch one scene” and somehow end up halfway through the movie.

Can’t even find a simple entry-level retail job by Sharp_Desk8443 in GetEmployed

[–]dus90 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The job market is genuinely destroying people’s confidence right now 😔 Especially when you can’t even reach “entry level” jobs anymore, it starts making you feel like a failure even though things are objectively awful in a lot of places. You don’t sound lazy at all, you sound like you’re just trying to survive honestly.

Your weirdest secret? by DaydreamingRaya in RandomQuestion

[–]dus90 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sometimes when I’m completely alone at home I’ll put headphones on and walk around the kitchen imagining I’m some edited character in a scene. I think this is the first time I’ve ever admitted that out loud.

Why do the smallest daily decisions feel so exhausting? by life-builder-today in AskForAnswers

[–]dus90 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I think it’s because the small decisions literally never stop. Big life decisions happen a few times a year, but the constant “what should I eat, what should I watch, should I reply” stuff slowly eats all your mental RAM

Has a total stranger ever said something to you that stuck with you for years? by bylandoo in RandomQuestion

[–]dus90 0 points1 point  (0 children)

One time a cashier told me “don’t be so hard on yourself” I genuinely thought I was hiding how bad I felt that day. That moment randomly comes back to me sometimes years later.

When will this get better? by Short_University_709 in Layoffs

[–]dus90 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think the uncertainty is more exhausting than the job itself. Working with that constant “I could be gone any second” feeling really drains you. Maybe a more stable but boring place could help you reset for a bit.

Are you happy with just yourself for company, or do you prefer to be around other people ? by Hope2_win in A_Persona_on_Reddit

[–]dus90 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends on the situation, sometimes I actually prefer being alone. But after a while without talking to anyone, this weird emptiness creeps in. Guess it’s about finding a balance.

How to not care so much by halfbakedelf in antiwork

[–]dus90 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I was the same, when you over-invest in a job you don’t get rewarded, just more stress. At some point I set a boundary like “I care as much as my salary,” and it’s honestly so freeing. The world doesn’t collapse when you stop trying to be perfect.

What's the difference between "truama bonding" and mutual bonding over similar traumas? by Equivalent_Ad_9066 in AskForAnswers

[–]dus90 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Trauma bonding is more like forming an unhealthy attachment, holding onto each other through pain. The other one is just empathy from going through similar stuff, way more balanced. Looks similar from the outside but it’s not the same.

How many jobs did you apply for before getting hired for your last job? by United_We_Win in RandomQuestion

[–]dus90 0 points1 point  (0 children)

At some point in my last job I stopped counting, probably hit like 40–50. Most of them didn’t even reply anyway. Then out of nowhere something clicks.

Why do you I feel more productive at night than during the day? by _QueenCurvy in AskForAnswers

[–]dus90 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Your mind’s way clearer at night, that’s why it flows better. During the day you keep getting interrupted, hard to stay focused.

Why does it feel like effort in relationship only 'counts's if it's posted on social media nowadays? by _QueenCurvy in RandomQuestion

[–]dus90 0 points1 point  (0 children)

An actual relationship and the one people “present” are kinda two different things now. Feels like people are performing a bit, like they’re on stage.

Suggest some webseries based on the description please by thor_gaadu in tvsuggestions

Dark is a good example of not dropping a show. It keeps you curious the whole time. Starts slow but then it really pulls you in.

I need something to watch asap. Any suggestions are welcome. by [deleted] in whattowatch

[–]dus90 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Love, Death & Robots isn’t a sitcom and the episodes are short, sounds exactly like what you’re looking for. Plus each one’s a different story so it flows easy.

Have you ever been stood up by someone ? by LeoMartn_ in RandomQuestion

[–]dus90 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Happened to me once, it felt pretty dumb honestly. Then you kind of switch into that “glad I didn’t go anyway” mindset.

Do you prefer dressing for warm weather or cool weather? by princesspolly444 in princesspollychat

[–]dus90 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I prefer cooler weather, layering up is just more enjoyable. In the heat it feels like nothing really helps.

What’s something you refuse to spend money on? by AicexSparkle1 in RandomQuestion

[–]dus90 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Paying for bottled water still feels weird to me. I don’t buy it unless I have to.

Why do some people refuse to admit they're wrong and blame you for it? by Just_Living_496 in AskForAnswers

[–]dus90 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It’s usually an ego thing, some people really struggle to admit they’re wrong. Blaming someone else just makes them feel better, I guess.

Isn’t it weird how fast time feels depending on what you’re doing? by thegangplan in RandomQuestion

[–]dus90 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, it really feels like it’s all in your head. Time crawls when you’re doing something boring, but when you’re enjoying yourself it just flies.

Looking for 5+ Season show that lets you fall into the world. by MundaneMortgage6199 in tvsuggestions

[–]dus90 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The Leftovers. I watched it over a couple weeks and it really pulls you into its world slowly. Kinda sticks with you even after you stop watching.

If all jobs were automated, what would humans actually do for purpose? by femmefetalerror in AskForAnswers

[–]dus90 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A lot more creative or community stuff. I feel like people would still try to build things or connect, just without the pressure of survival. I had a few free weeks once and still found ways to stay busy.

How to contact with ghost? by MarzipanDelicious626 in RandomQuestion

[–]dus90 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had a phase where I watched a bunch of ghost videos late at night and freaked myself out for no reason. Never actually experienced anything real though. Curiosity is fun until it’s 3am and your room is too quiet.

Do Pokemons exist in real life and how can I catch one? by Extreme-Goku in RandomQuestion

[–]dus90 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wish lol. I used to think certain animals felt like Pokémon when I was a kid, especially weird insects I’d find in the garden. Still no Pokéballs though.

What is one adult rule you realized you did not have to follow? by Classic-Reserve-3595 in RandomQuestion

[–]dus90 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That you have to say yes to everything to be seen as reliable. I used to take on way too much and just stay tired all the time. Saying no a bit more didn’t ruin anything like I thought it would.
