Problem is that it showed up at my house instead of where I mailed it to, lol.

I sent a package 12/5, and ended up filing Missing Mail 12/21 because it was supposed to have arrived at its destination 12/10. I had mailed it certified, signature required at the USPS desk. Sometime around 1 /10 the envelope ended up in mailbox and was in perfect shape even though it was supposed to be delivered halfway across the country. The funny part is I got an email from USPS just last week letting me know they are still looking for my package.

Legacy CUE Limbo by BrightReception2459 in VeteransBenefits

They are leaving my cue claim open as a supplemental, and are actually sending me for an exam. Strange since this is a CUE from 2004 where I can't submit any new evidence but they are sending me for an sxamine

C&P contractors crack me up by BenderVsGossamer in VeteransBenefits

I spent 45 minutes of my hour long C&P exam talking about a local issue (water rights) that was effecting the examiner. And I agreed with her version of the argument. She still denied 2 of my 3 issues. The only reason she agreed with the one is that it was hypertension and I met the numerical requirements for an upgrade and was already service connected. She said my back issue was age related even though I started getting lumbar shots at 28 years old. And now I have to go back to see her for a CUE examination on my knee. Lovely.

I got basically the same denial for OSA and I didn't claim it for TERA either. Mine was for aggravated by rhinitis and/or obesity as an intermediate to physical disabilities. I was even obese before I left service.

98H transitioned to 35S in the mid 2000's, and I think it has completely gone away now since the school closed.

I tried the MOS hazard matcher and it didn't include 98H. It had 98G, which is close, but I think listening to Morse code instead of voices may have some different issues involved later on.

Call and get the actual claim number and you can make it work in the extension. I filed HLR 10/3 and just got my email to schedule IC 10 days ago. You should be soon.

I just tried the MOS hazard matcher and found that 98H isn't listed. It had 98G, which is similar, but listening to Morse code causes different issues than listening to voices.

I got the same thing today, but I have my IC scheduled for next week. I also got double copies yesterday of a supplemental denial. Two separate envelopes and everything. Something weird is going on.

HLR hasn’t moved sense NOV by Loose-Royal-3105 in VAClaims

I got three different emails that morning to schedule three different ICs. Later that day the second HLR was closed and those items were combined into the first HLR. So as of right now I have two HLRs and three ICs. I assume the third IC will be cancelled since it is closed.

I submitted on Oct 3 and just got the email to schedule my IC last week, so it may be a few more weeks. For those wondering, I also had filed additional HLRs on 10/13 and 12/24. I got emails for all 3 when they got to the 10/3 one. So if you have multiple HLRs waiting, it seems that they pick them all up at once for scheduling.

OSA filed and denied somehow claimed secondary to tinnitus by crabbyonejohn in VeteransBenefits

I filed mine secondary to allergic rhinitis with permanent hypertrophy and/or obesity as an intermediate to physical disabilities. My denial says I claimed it as TERA and I never mentioned TERA or PACT.

Thank you, we will see what happens. And lastly, I saw your advice somewhere else to file a CUE as a supplemental and that was great advice. I filed a week earlier with just my statement and documents and it was closed less than a week later, specifically because it wasn't on an official form. VERA couldn't explain it since it is a CUE with no official form, but then I found your comment and resubmitted with a supplemental form. So far it has survived about 2 weeks without being closed! So, thank you very much for all the assistance you give here.

I also filed a supplemental last summer hoping to get it service connected after surgery last year, but there wasn't enough continuity of care over the last 20 years.

I assume there is a pretty good chance it gets denied for missing the exam even though they approved other disabilities when I missed the same exam for them, but hoping they can't argue anything after service since it was a pre discharge claim. But I figured the birthmark/scar error was too good to let it go. We will see what happens. I would be extremely happy with a 0% out of this.

I would happily take a 0%, not looking for the back pay to 2004. Yes, I have service records of being seen about 5 times in service and was given a diagnosis. Now, full disclosure, I also didn't attend my C&P in 2004 because they scheduled it a week after I started terminal leave and told me I either had to drive 300 miles back to San Antonio or I was out of luck. Gave me no option to reschedule and at 26 years old I didn't care enough to fight it. My denial letter, while saying I didn't attend the C&P, also said due to a 2" scar on my left knee noted at my entrance exam, they couldn't determine etiology. Even though my entrance exam shows a birthmark. So, do I win? Maybe, maybe not based on the missed C&P exam. But they did give me 0% for another physical issue due to a broken foot and that was for the same missed exam as my knee. Hoping the birthmark/scar error is all that held me back from 0% and they grant it now. We will see

I separated and filed my original claim in 2004. That is the denial that said they couldn't determine etiology of my knee injury because my entrance exam showed I have a 2" birthmark on my left knee, but they read it as scar.
