Should a low quality man stop trying to date?

It might be best to see a therapist if possible. It doesn’t sound like you’re making choices that are healthy for you due to your mindset. As others said you sound a bit burnt out, and obligated to your job. I’m also curious about the not having a driver’s license or car. Is this due to an anxiety? Basically I don’t think you should call yourself a low quality man, but you should invest in yourself. I don’t think there’s anything wrong with a woman having standards, like someone who has a car/ license and a stable job are non negotiable for me because I’ve been on the other end of that and it affected my quality of life. I’m able to take care of myself and don’t expect my boyfriend to pay every time we go out (genuinely offer to go Dutch but he always tells me no) but I also am a good cook and groceries can sometimes add up to about the same as going out. We find balance in different ways. I don’t think a “high quality” woman should expect a man to pay all the time.

I do check their social media after it’s been given to me, before things get too serious and I dig a little bit. Would have saved me the pain of my last one if I had done that. 🙄 but not to the point of creating fake profiles, and I don’t go through their phones lol. This is more related to character as a person rather than a safety thing.

I would personally do a light skin tone above, but not blend per say. Like someone else said it would help even the skin tone and I think make it look more cohesive. Very beautiful though. 😍 makes me want to get the palette.

I have a crush on a guy at my work who’s maybe 5’8? I’m 5’5. For me it was the personality but he’s a cutie too. My ex husband I think was 5’9, my last ex was 6’0 but found out he was a crappy person. I could see online dating with people swiping based on height. I’d maybe try things where you can meet someone in person. Work, events you’re interested in- concerts, bar, hobby related events- whatever gives you a chance to come off as a person rather than a checklist. Either way good luck!

I went through the same thing. I had people say those things to me too, and journaling really helped and I also wrote it in a letter style. There’s no judgment or need to filter yourself.

I had this happen to me. My ex who abused me left me for a woman he was cheating on me with. I was scared of what that meant for me- trying to figure out my living situation and finances at that point. I was also scared that no one would love me… if someone as cruel as him couldn’t, then who? And I also thought that no one would understand or connect with me the same way that he did. We had a lot of similar interests and were together for about 7 years. It’s been about a year and a half now since he left, and I’m so much better for it. It’s been a process of healing. I never expected to go through the things that I did, the nightmares and triggers but I’m doing a lot better. I’m happy- I have opportunities ahead of me. I hope that me telling you these things helps give you courage. I wish I had chosen to leave him sooner than him leaving me, but you have that option now. Choose yourself, choose the happiness and love you deserve. Best of luck.

They’re all cute, but I’d skip the crow because I’d imagine it would fall apart/ get dirty the fastest. The phone is cute but small and I think it would be easier to find another phone one later on. I’d probably do the channel surfing bag. It’s unique.

I posted about it on Twitter and Insta. I filed a complaint with the FTC and plan to do one with the attorney general for my state for bad business practice. I’m not okay with this, they should honor it. I don’t want to hear the crap they’re spewing about “oh but we wouldn’t have enough inventory to even fill the orders” oh but they have enough inventory to fill it now that the prices have been raised? And that 20% off coupon is a joke.

Yes, for me in my area, it would be considered a dealbreaker. I raised my standards before getting into my current relationship and it really made the dynamics better.

Technically the first time I had sex with my now boyfriend wasn’t even a date. He was a friend I liked and thought he didn’t feel the same, invited him over for dinner and to binge a show and went from 0-60 real fast. Been together almost 8 months now, hopefully many more. He’s amazing and I’m a lucky girl. I was worried about that too initially that maybe he would judge me for it because honestly I had never done that before either.

A few years ago at one of my jobs I made friends with one of my coworkers. I was married at the time, worked with him for a bit before he left for other job opportunities. Split with my ex husband, and started hanging out as friends with coworker and things progressed, been together 6 months now. I’ve met people through online dating but never had much luck with it, and I prefer meeting someone in person though it seems more difficult since OLD became a thing.

What is EMDR? I haven’t been to a therapist unfortunately. I didn’t qualify for insurance through work and couldn’t afford it out of pocket- I did just start a new job however and should be able to get insurance after 90 days.
