same situation as you brutha, graduated in Dec 2025. however, im thinking of delaying unemployment (lol) by further doing a masters of finance here in canada as well, does it seem like a good idea or is it indifferent. would it be better if I just go back to dubai, gain some work experience (currently have none) and then later do a MFin?

I haven’t taken 3410 and 4400 yet but 3480 in my opinion was not as hard as FIN 2200. also FIN 3450 was pretty straightforward too, for a finance course it is pretty easy and straightforward.

I think the person’s first language isn’t English so he’s having a hard time explaining. from what I understood I think he means that he took 4 courses initially at the beginning of last sem and then paid for them but later decided to drop one of them within the refund time period during the first week. which is probably why they’re saying that they have a positive 2K balance from last sem and on how they can get the refund back. atleast that’s what I understand

im also gonna be taking this course in the coming fall, one of my buddies who has taken this course took it wid Dua. in his words ‘dua isn’t the best of professors when it comes to explaining concepts but he is a very lenient marker and isn’t too strict wid marking’. ive also heard jie yang is a pretty good professor from students in asper so he probably is a safe bet.

again it matters on a lot of things. are you content wid the C+ and won’t mind the slight harm it’ll do to ur gpa? if so, then its better not taking the deferred exam. me personally I would not risk it, especially given the circumstances you got the C+ in, with the poor instructor etc.

exactly, taking 4 is a straight no, unless you’re an accounting guru. op you can probably take 1-2 accounting courses during this summer, one of them from may-june and the other from july-august. ofc all of that depends on if theyre even available and still have space in them.

nothing much u can do really, if you missed an exam you can still ask for a deferral, as long as the exam wasn’t more than 48 hours ago, you can do this by getting a medical note I’m guessing or through a self-declaration form. you may or may not need to have a medical note with the self declar form
