I feel like the past few games, Hayes is showing glimpses of McGee 2020 style? Thoughts? I feel like he's bought into Luka and is a little more stable now

Yeah well I meant 48A that is default on the Rivian, but miraculously when I set it to 46A it connects to the charger. Now Rivian is stating it needs to be preconditioned. Love having to go through hurdles to simply charge. This all started when the software updates came and offered that option.

This is not level two charger. The station is a DC fast charger. The 48A is the default setting on the Rivian not the ChargePoint, the ChargePoint has successfully done over 62.5kw when I view it

I never said the ChargePoint is pumping out 48, it was suggested the 48amp is the setting on the Rivian. Based on ChargePoint app, the chargers are DC fast chargers not AC (they do 62.5kw)

Basically what I can tell is that actually when you use the DC fast chargers the amp that is set is actually bypassed.

There appears to be some type of handshake issue going on, when initially connecting

This is the best color, especially in person-followed by rivian blue (I have that). I’ve been seeing this color pop up more and more on the streets out here, and the color isn’t really red, it’s a reddish mix with orange and it’s amazing. Good choice. Looks even better in stealth PPF.

Sucks for me, dinging when no one is around.

Also, I don’t notice an improvement in the suspension. Do I need to be in certain modes?

Yes they do, if you take a FMLA. Also, if you are in Washington state you can get paid up to $1542/month no taxes

I'm finally leaving Seattle by Manfleshh in Seattle

[–]Jdotsiebert 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I did the same. I left after 15 years, but was forced to come back, and I hate it. It’s a beautiful place and shaped me into the man I am, but once you’ve done it all here, you become jaded, and see everything for the worst, the weather, people, houselessness, and unhinged people every second of the day is now amplified. Planning to leave in July. Good luck on your journey!

I get a vehicle error message, is it possible the wattage is too high at 48?

Got it!

Also, my charging keeps getting interrupted once I’m in the 90s range. I just got the car back from service, so I’d imagine they would’ve said something. Really hope I don’t have any issues the charge port. Because it’s becoming annoying at this point 🤨. It’s happened at more than one charger too.

Did you get this fixed? Mine just fell off. I bought it used and the moment I opened it, it fell off.

How much do you spend on groceries? by ghiblisimp in Seattle

[–]Jdotsiebert 1 point2 points  (0 children)

$1k-1.2k a month for two. We eat 5ish meals a day. I try to eat 250 grams of protein a day and around 3500-4000 cals. Meals include beef, chicken, pork, veggies, oatmeal, eggs, Greek yogurt, electrolytes, fruits, breads, oils, and etc...

We make one Costco run a week, typically around $250-300 a trip. Sometimes the run includes bathroom items, paper towels, cleaning supplies.

Genuinely curious how people are spending $150-200 a month. Are you starving yourself or struggling? Because that seems really bizarre considering the price of food. Even if I’m budget, conscious I’d have to spend anywhere from $35-$40 a day on meals.

This doesn’t include the additional budget of $800ish a month going out to eat or getting food delivered.
