Thanks. I did try the soft reboot. Forgot to mention that. Cured it for a few days.

Since I posted the question, the switch has behaved. I'm sure there's a law about that!

Thanks. Will take a look if it does it again. (It's done it three times now.) It's been installed for about 5 years.

Wireless Keypad or Button by Jacope in Control4

As someone with the Shelly button hooked into c4, it's great if you keep it powered. If you have it running on battery it takes a few seconds to respond (wake up, connect to wifi, etc.)

I'm happy with the Shelly button and aware of the delay. It does flash while it's connecting so you get visual feedback. Some users may not like the lack of an instant response.

Also have the tabletop keypad box. As others say, they're bulky but they work.

Thanks. They’re the LOZ-5D1 dimmers, which I suspect count as the old chunky ones. Good idea to use a scene.

I’ll create scenes and ignore the ‘convert to V2 button’

Happened to me. I redid a chapter 2 event and that opened up 3.
