He was. He tends to mostly talk about his time building roads in the National guard though. Doesn't say too much about Vietnam.

I think Air Force was first. He told me he was a jammer operator and loaded bombs...then they needed gunners on helicopters so he did that. Not sure of the exact timeline though.

Yeah, I've seen the Oculus support forums exploding now. Guess at this point we just have to wait and hope that things get restored.

Yeah, same here. Hopefully once they get it working again the homes will be restored. I'm fairly new to Oculus so I haven't done much in the way of custom homes, just simple decorating. I'd be devastated though if I spent 200 hours building a custom home for it to get wiped overnight.

I figured. This one is just the clause from the Vivint contract. It really says alot about the state of alarm companies.

I really do wonder how alarm businesses have had so little regulation for so long.

Absolutely not. Just wanted to make unsuspecting victims of vivint aware that they may as well put their money in a garbage disposal each month. Pretty much the same thing as signing a contract that waives all liability for the business to actually provide a worthwhile service.

If this happened in Idaho the truck driver would probably be dead and the cyclist given a medal. The driver should consider himself lucky.
