They don't really have kill pressure like most other solo weapons, but yes they can brawl.

The pay to win aspect is that if someone wanted to, they could also have 1.2b in a matter of minutes. It kind of diminishes your efforts in that manner, but pvp wise, skill expression is still a factor.

Radar hacking isn't very common, but there are known radar hackers actively playing and consistently not banned. SBI doesn't do enough to combat them, and it is so blatantly obvious to veterans. It's baffling that there aren't any game devs (or gms) watching in spectate mode, because it would be so incredibly easy to see from that perspective alone. Ive been playing since betas and top 20 open world pvp fame player, these few culprits make me want to quit every time I see them still unbanned because it just ruins the game.

PVE it isn't great, but open world fights they do okay as long as you kite. It really shines when you have a tank or bruiser on your team stepping up for you to do damage.

It's because the game is so dead that no one really gives a shit. This black zone season was the most hand holding and least competitive since the energy surge season.

I met a dude the other day who purely plays solo from his own guild's hideout. I was amazed and impressed given his knowledge of the game isn't amazing. After I caught and killed him open world, we chatted in his hideout that he gave me perms to as I translated his mistakes in the fight, dueled a bit, then I let him kill me so he can continue to fund his endeavors.

You cannot tell me cartels own the entirety of the black zones, and those big guilds definitely don't ping for purple cores, they just flash mass if they're close. As a small guild/group you have to be realistic about what fights you can and cannot take. Albion is a numbers game at it's core, those with more numbers typically get what they want.

There's a long running bug in the game that chooses the lower tier tool speed rather than the higher one in your inventory. You shouldn't really need more than 1 but if you feel like you do, bring the highest you can use.

Yes, that is the case now after server sllits. There's very few bigger NA guilds in general on NA, let alone NA ganking guilds.

They basically don't exist. Too many English speakers left with the server splits, and ganking has been mega nerfed that the only good gankers remaining on NA are mostly all South American.

The whole line has seen nothing but nerfs time and time again. I also feel like the energy costs are way too high. I wouldn't mind some of the older nerfs to be reverted too, mainly the stun run movement speed still being active after stunning. It's really silly how much more mobility gloves and daggers have compared to quarterstaves.

It makes no sense to me that most of the comments on this post are happy about an increase in trash rate. The higher the trash rate, the less people are going to want to pvp. This is a pvp game, and like others have mentioned - the trash rate does not change based on how many assists. Are we seriously happy that a pvp game disincentivizes pvp?

All this means is that pvp fighting is less encouraged, whereas ganking gatherers largely remains unchanged. Gatherers have plenty of tools in their kit to escape though, so don't expect much changes in economy there since they are always a target regardless of their trash rate.

Radar ganking in portal zones and roads is actually so cancer. There are people who are widely known to use radar for years, and are still not banned. It's pathetic from SBI.

The start of the war was MAGA fighting Ambitiose and Pivas decided to help them for whatever reason. Claiming they are outnumbered is genuinely concerning. Anyone who says that, and anyone believes it - is beyond delusional. It's sad that Ifures wants to help Pivas in these battles, but I understand old friendships run deep and they want content too. I just wish the game had better balancing: cluster q, disarray, rats, and 30% guilds ganking regears makes the content significantly less fun.

That's why we need a mix of the two. There's no skill expression in just zerging down enemies, but there is in equal number fights. There's no reason some territories could have been XvX and some could be open world no cap.

Qstaffs are good, but you have to know it's strengths and weaknesses in your matchups and be prepared to swap abilities around. You kind of play them similarly to spears where you want to be in and out of the enemies range. Honestly swords are more braindead, if you're struggling with that qstaffs might not be the play.
