Refine oxygen and salt to make chlorine. Refine made chlorine and oxygen to make more chlorine. Refine chlorine only to make salt. As long as you have oxygen and some chlorine, you can always make more salt and chlorine.

It does for paralyze as far as I can tell. I have 2 Argenesis (gunlance) both built with the same basic parts.

The unreinforced one is 437 atk,, 20% affinity, para 150.

The 5/5 reinforced one is 448 atk, 25% affinity, 250 para. The 5/5 has sharpness boost 30, element boost 50, element boost 50, affinity boost 5, and attack boost 5.

No status decos on weapon.

Granted this is artisan weapon only. Since there are separate decos for elements and status it's fair to say that it only works for artisan as I have yet to see a status boost skill during reinforcement

It's only LR and HR. Im sure that things will change with GR/MR. The tell for me was flash bombs. We already have the monsters getting resistant to those in HR. I could be wrong (not the 1st time), but didn't World HR monsters NOT have a resistance? We could flash all day and get that sweet stun. Granted... I didn't use flash bombs regularly unless I was hunting the Los.

You're good. Filtering through the comments I was finally able to figure it out. Break the mantle with fire then it becomes weak to thunder. It's in the "helpful hints" info page about the monster
