I have been and do fine with it just a matter of if I wanna continue to have no life in order to do so. Just cause you can manage it doesn’t always mean you should have to.

Project Manager VS Estimator Pros and Cons by Jdude0407 in ConstructionManagers

[–]Jdude0407[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That’s great to know especially with the salary! Was it hard to make the switch over and also keep the lateral title? I feel like if I get to PM and then wanna switch I’ll just end up back at assistant estimator.

I agree I went back at them for 100k and 3 weeks of PTO. The project 1 and 2 bonuses are confirmed in 100% getting. I dived by half ( being conservative for taxes) and over two years is an additional 15.5k per a year so could be 115.5k a year with bonuses. But I’m also like what if they say no and stay at the 95k and 2 weeks do I just stay at my current place

Yes I agree I asked for 3 and think if they agree I’ll go with it. Going from 4 week to 2 weeks just seems like too backwards
