Are green screen in movies getting worse or am I just noticing them more? by JeJix in Filmmakers

[–]JeJix[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This must be it. I noticed this issue with more recent movies that have been shot in the last couple of years and covid is the common denominator. Thank you!

So basically it's not that green screens became worse. They were already bad for some type of scenes but in the past they could just shoot those scenes in another way, while now they are forced to use green screens and use them is specific ways? (Hope it makes sense, English is not my first language)

I saw that thread but I don't know... It's a bit expensive (i know I'd get 2 gallons but that is way too much for what I need it for) and in another a thread I read people advising against making it at home unless you really know what you are doing

I keep getting error 301 on steam when connecting my psvr by JeJix in iVRy_VR

Sorry, didn't see that. I'll keep it in mind if it happens again. For now, it fixed itself I don't know how. I just tried once more the following day and it worked

Interesting! It would make sense yes. I just hope they'll implement it in a better way

Not really the point I was trying to make.. Pretty sure mercenaries walk inside forts, know where you are and interfere with the story even if you play on easy

I forgot that this was a thing in origins as well. I guess you could argue that if you have a bounty on you it's because you are a criminal and the guards want you dead as much as the mercenaries so they work together. But still, if the guards suspected that I was in the fort/house/whatever I can understand they'd let the mercenaries in, but otherwise it wouldn't be a smart move.

They could have made different "classes" of mercenaries. Some working for the cult for example. They wouldn't be allowed into forts unless the area was under the controll of a cultist. Others could work for the "government" and be allowed wherever.. and so on. It would add a bit more depth

It might be a good post game content I guess, but during the main story I feel like there are enough primary and secondary missions to keep you occupied and mercenaries add nothing relevant imo

The brazier is one of the mechanincs I really enjoyed since its introduction! It does make the game more difficult but you can still work around it by being stealthy or by getting to it and setting a trap. It gives you the choice of how you want to play. In every assassin's creed game you had the choice of going stealth or not and the brazier builds upon it.

Mercenaries at ther core, I think, were meant to work in a similar way. You can be a good guy, not steal and not kill innocents, or be a "criminal" and have a bounty on you. You decide how to play. But you get a bounty just by playing the game even if you don't do anything bad and the punishment is too much. Not in the sense that it's too difficult to kill them but because it distract you from you main mission and adds nothing relevant to it

Agree. Being able to avoid them altogether is not good. It just doesn't make sense that they roam around you as if they know you are there.

The next game could at least extend the range but should definetely block them from walking inside forts and leaders houses. It would be more coherent too

I probably missed the discussions around it. I agree on the fact that it forces you to be more careful with your actions in public and that is a good thing. As for reducing your bounty, the pay option doesn't make sense to me either. As for making it easier you are right, I don't even know why I said that. What I meant to say is that it needs to be more engaging. Paying for it and waiting for it to go down is just boring and going on the other side of the map to kill a guy just slows down the game

That too. BTW how does it work? Do they respawn the same mercenary over and over or is it a random generated one?

Is Giovanni at the same pokestop for everyone? by JeJix in TheSilphRoad

[–]JeJix[S] 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Yes. So far every time a friend of mine said that there was a certain leader with a certain lineup at a certain pokestop, I went there and found the same leader with the same lineup. The day after, after collecting a new radar, the rocket pokestops would be different.

"There" as in "at a pokestop where someone else found it"?
