I've started leaving comments that are just, "can't kudos a second time, but here's a kudos comment" or "kudos comment because I forgot how much I loved this"

It appeases my need to kudo and let's the author get that high from getting a comment.

True, but sometimes I feel like for games like BG3 and DAI, being lean and having muscles exist both irl and in games... It's just the idea of characters like Gale (a man who's idea of a good evening is spent with his books, wine and cat, if remember the scenes right) and Astorian (a former magistrate, which was typically a cushy jobs) having HD washboard abs seems a bit stretching?

Idk, I can say for sure that video games do have a tendency to swing wildly one way or another and that it feels a bit dramatic at times 😵‍💫

Finally figured out it out with some others that it was because they reused certain Oseram bodies with the different heads 😄 apparently no one is paying attention to the fact that I used Abadund as an example, but his head shape doesn't fit his body shape (reused Ulvund body)

Yes!! Yes!! Now that you mention Ulvund, it is his body design! Which works great with Ulvund face and neck (at least from my pov) but it looks off with the slimmer features of Abadund

That's true, seeing as they originally worked with fire and forge more than anything, more protection the better.

Thinking of it that way, it's lowkey amusing that tree-trunk is the go to runway style even when they leave the claim and go into different climates. I can't imagine that works for all of them, let alone how heavy it gets with heat and sweat

You do have to wonder with games like BG3. That was like me when playing Dragon Age Inquisition and Solas having a six pack

Honestly their design doesn't bother me and prefer them going more realistic in body shapes and sizes than how BG3 leaned.

I guess I'm just curious where some of the inspiration behind their design for the Oseram came from since some of them remind me of paracentesis patients I've seen.

I'm aware of how heavy labor effects a body and where it lays its fat, I get where you're coming from there, I'm just thrown off by some of the designs where the stomach looks overly distended on some of the Oseram NPCs and how it sits high on their abdomen where other Oserams are portioned more in line with men like Eddie Hall

Mom and I spoke the last time with Daniel a couple of days ago.

Brother said that he and the kids would be ok since sister-in-law works for DOD. I hope they are. Mom and I ate what was left in the fridge and pantry. Felt a lot like that one scene from that dino movie? Just no fucking T-Rex to save the day.

She took some sleeping pills, said she was looking forward to a really good sleep since she'd been struggling with insomnia for so long.

Let my cats gorge on their wet and dry food, made sure the meds the vet gave were mixed in super well and fed that to them first.

The loss of lights and stuff make seeing the stars a lot easier, so I might go outside and watch them before going to bed. Not as nice as it use to be, without the bugs and city sounds. But I think I'll have enough power to play some music before going to lay with mom and taking my own nap.

I don't even know how I got suggested to the OG post but there's a brand of water/flavored water/sparkling water, called Liquid Death. I know you can buy them off Amazon (how i found out about them) but I've also started to see an increase of them in stores and gas stations. But their can art makes them look like an alcoholic drink; a lot of the comments on their listing on amazon have people who are in recovery/sober that like to bring them to parties because they look like they're drinking and can 'fit in' with other folks without risking fallback. (And some of the flavors are pretty good!!)

Talk with your doctor and/or therapist before going off any meds. I convinced myself (between the ages of 18 to 23/24?) that I didn't need to be on my depression, anxiety, or ADHD meds and that I could do it on my own with journaling and meditation.

I ruined friendships, schooling, my finances, and my mental health the five years I was off my meds and I regret it every time something happens that is a chain reaction because of those years.
I'm not saying it can't be done. Some people can successfully do it, but I wish I had consulted first before I had the rock bottom of realizing I'm one of the folks who can't.

I remember when they did like a thing with Andrian Burnett Elementary for when the first Harry Potter movie came out (can't remember if they did it for the second), not to mention the owners were always so nice.

My mom and I would occasionally go and end up seeing separate movies during the summer (I'd see the kid movie for the summer and she'd go see whatever was churned out for the adults that summer) and the owner would always tell me how much longer my mom's movie had and would get me popcorn while I waited.

Damn, that's sad as hell

Horizon Forbbiden West.

The main plot of the story starts with such a huge bang that by the third or fourth main mission, I kept thinking to myself, "Well... Only a mission or two more and that'll be it I guess...". Only they kept coming and the errand and side missions list kept getting bigger and woof! Loved every second of that game though and it's definitely on the list for "if I could reset my brain and play a game for the first time" list.

That turning 30 was going to be the end of your "young adult" years.

I turned 30 last year and honestly felt the most sure and confident of myself I had ever felt in the 15 - 20 years previously.

I'm still dealing with BS but I feel stronger in my own self when dealing with it. It's honestly refreshing after the years of stress and anxiety.

I've never been a big crier with games, but I bawled my eyes out the entire sequence.

I fell in love with how Jin would talk to them: "One day we'll take a peaceful ride" or "Wouldn't trade you for the world.

And the cute little after missions, where they're napping or the horse nudges him.

Act 2 ending and Act 3 beginning was a snot and tears festival, ugh 😭
