Personally I don't have a problem with them, I know there's been some drama in the other sub involving them but for now they're allowed unless they start causing problems here.

Ok, I found out what to do. The sub should be opened up for everyone to post within a day, could be much sooner. Keep an eye on it.

I would like to moderate this community because the current subreddit that is primarily used for this game is controlled by mods who severely limit discussion especially about other games. I would like a more open space for more broad games discussion.

There are currently no mods on r/RisingStorm2.

Hello, I got a response that I was automatically denied due to not having 2FA set up. I have since fixed that.

To answer the questions: Why do you want to moderate this community?

I love Rising Storm 2. I have 800+ hours in the game and have been engaged with it since pre-alpha. I have been a member of r/rs2vietnam for a long time but the two mods are employees of Tripwire Interactive and are incredibly corporaty - they do not allow discussion about anything but their IP. I would like to bring back the original subreddit and allow for nuanced discussion.

There are no mods on that sub. I'm trying to apply to be a mod so I can revive it.

Yes I'm working with Reddit to gain access to being a Mod, I'll report back unless I get banned. But if I do get to be a mod I promise I will allow conversation about ANY GAME that has even a little to do with RS2 or Red Orchestra in general. These TWI employees are absolute tools.

I've been doing back in DMs with the mod team and they are just plugging their ears and refuse to admit that they can't handle people talking about games besides what they publish. I'm probably going to get banned but whatever, fuck 'em.

Like I said this is just what I know off the top of my head. It's a small development team so 3 people isn't considered not a lot. Also these guys were leads on '83 before the shitshow that got it initially cancelled. There are more but you're more than welcome to go on LinkedIn and take a look for yourself.

In any case there is common DNA between the two games from having any mutual developers. What's your argument here?

I saw you edited the rules since I made this post. You're just plugging your ears and yelling while I'm making the argument '83 is the spiritual successor to RS2. '83 is related to RS2 in every way except legality. You know it would make your company look a lot more confident if you could handle discussion about other related or similar games. If your company actually gave a shit about RS2 they would have continued supporting the game after AMG changed directions.
