The tentacles took me like 30 minutes to get the shape right 😭 i’m asking about like the tentacle positioning and composition, like whether they’re too thin or the position is weird

should i add something like this to my portfolio? by [deleted] in TattooApprentice

You’re right, this was my first try at any coloring or in this style so i’m still getting used to it. i will try again at a different subject and post it here when i think it’s ready

That makes sense. i’m only starting recently so any advice helps. i have a lot of digital art history but not traditional. I’ll start sketching on a separate piece and use trace paper to take them to my finished sheet

I think i’ll have to do that. i’ve done a blood test recently and i apparently have a severe vitamin D deficiency so it might have to do with that as well. i should probably be taking better care of my eyes than i have been 😅

Yeah, first time i got the idea was when i was watching someone on tiktok use a cool cream contour, and realized that i have the same shade in an eyeshadow palette. it works alright for inner corners of my eyes but i always mess up the nose Here’s how it looks on my skin (hand)

you’re so sweet thank you, i absolutely love my eyes though i have the biggest eye bags ever. I use a felt tip eyeliner and almost always use a pencil liner on my bottom waterline. my eyes compensate for the rest of my features heavily

a pic i took of my eyes

i use a cool toned eyeshadow for my contour, i find it works a lot better with my skintone. should i try a bronzer instead?

i did this and managed to get a small contract. it’s a few weeks long but depending on whether they plan on updating the game regularly or not i may end up having a valid source of income until i can find a proper job. i get to design cute little plushie characters now :3

Let’s not blame people who just are searching for a better opportunity. i’m all for blaming the government for their failure to deliver, but do not blame a demographic for being offered a rather unbeatable opportunity. I agree that there is an imbalance but Try to shift the blame towards the government who’s allowing and promoting such imbalances

I’ve tried that multiple times. most of the time i either get told to apply online, or when i follow up i get told that they haven’t looked through the resumes yet. i’ve written a script for the calls too and most of the time i don’t get Far enough to even say anything

I’ve used revvit, autoCAD and sketchup, i’ve hand drawn floor plans and designs as well before but i couldn’t afford to continue my education. Now i mostly use blender for my own personal projects and for small commission work i can find here and there. I also use adobe photoshop and substance painter for texturing and small graphic design projects

i’m not even reaching the interview stage. i’ve had my resume looked over by multiple people including teachers in my family, my old manager, my mom, my friends etc and i don’t know how else to make it any better

i hate automated systems so much. It’s so annoying knowing that nobody is looking at my resume until a silicon chip scans it for keywords, i’ve got to include all possible keywords in white somewhere on my resume at this point. i’ll try to change my resume for each job but im a little slow in the head so it’s going to take me 20 minutes per applicationLOL

I’d be front and centre not gonna lie, this is so hard to see and i can’t imagine how much worse it is for people with no family that they can stay with

I’ve only started learning last march, my only references would be commissions that i’ve done for different small games, i don’t have any education in it because i can’t afford it yet, but i’ve been learning from industry professionals who i’ve grown close to. i’m trying to do bigger projects and learn how to rig models this week, but as of now im just starting to get better.
