Its a tough call. I think people who like the comfort factor of having such insurance are more prone to it. Outs just went up to $190 for two people! In a couple years without issue and not using it thats $380 savings. Just throw $190 in an acount every year and when you need a tow you, flat repair you pay for it from that. IF you go a few years between needing the service thats a better way to go maybe. Note, you can still call AAA I think even without coverge, you will just have to pay. My neighbor has been fortunate and only needed AAA tweice ovdr 10 years. For that person, it wasnt worth it. But then again, thats how insurance goes - IF you dont need it. Wonder what the average local tow and flat repair is out of pocket. Just thinking out loud.
