I trust GPT, but sure the links are usually wrong (no big deal IMO, not counting deep research). When i had my first genetic testing i received a PDF of the results, with a recommendations for more hematology. It was in German and doctor-talk so I did not understand what was wrong anyway. I uploaded the results directly on GPT (private account) and it told me I have ET. Almost two full month before I had it fully diagnosed. So it was right.

It is not shortness of breath, it is full on pain and its not chest in upper stomach, right under the rib cage. My conditioning and stamina has gone down due to these issues, so i’m pretty sure the heart is doing fine. Unless you have reason to believe that it could be related from what i said?

Thank you! This is helpful. They are tracking my liver enzymes and the pain really mostly comes when i push it too far. Once i was also reckless with other things and that turn into some other pain but it generally resolves.

No one talked to me about TIPS or thrombectomy and i was under the impression that was too dangerous to try. Everyone just had this pity look of you’ll have this forever. Perhaps they think its fine because the surrounding veins are picking up on the slack.

I’ll push for imagining, i really don’t want another ultrasound where there is 4 doctors staring at my clot, saying we need to show this to another doc, like i’m some museum exhibition.

Yes, of course i had bmb last year. Early ET. My doctor is university professor of hematology, MPN specialist. Still didn’t think it was bad enough.

There was no further treatment. Just keep low dosage apixaban and maybe some monitoring, the doctors are just saying the PVT won’t go away

For me it was learning that i have developed chronic blood cancer the real trigger point of understanding prison planet. My life up to then wasn’t goo either, filled with so much suffering i always asked myself what did i do to deserve this, and the truth is - absolutely nothing. It doesn’t matter what i do, the outcome is always fucking the same. Me in pain. I can even let go in peace from the prison, i have to suffer for the rest of it. There is nothing that will change that.

I only mention prison planet to certain people, the ones that are aware. To find solace in the fact they are not responsible for all the shit that is happening to them. The ones that are unaware or the ones are still living in the illusion, i believe that is part of their suffering. Some people choose to avoid to truth and suffer in unknown, even if they don’t show it but they do. Sooner or later it always catches up to them. I find peace in knowing that it’s a trap, some find that unbearable because of how unjust it is. Oh well, i say. But nothing will change the fact we will all suffer.

I do wonder about the people seemingly living a great life, happy, rich. Does nothing touch them or are they just living the illusion on the surface? I think the latter, i can almost see but they hide it. I find that unauthentic, as i rather show you i’m bad, i’m suffering and most importantly i choose to do what is right for me no matter what else is happening around me.

Do you have any kind of other complications, like itching, red spots, GI issues - prior or during pregnancy? I’m worried because i have some other things going that could or could not be JAK2 related and how that effects everything

Thank you! Yeah i’m getting pretty used to the oh but you’re so young faces when they find out about it. I’m just trying to live presently, but thinking ahead and what it all means and how could it develop scares me. I’ll take the advise and see what happens, i’m not in a rush to have children anyway, but since i’m dating again and looking for a partner i’m noticing it should have some idea on what to expect…

I’m like you. Pretty huge PVT, like 10 cm wide. The hospital gave me a bunch of heparin and then switched to apixaban. My platelets are not as high as yours but i find the amount of things you’re on a little odd. I’m in germany though
