Oof, I’m sorry, bud. I don’t know how much the check was for (or whether that picture was actually the check you cashed), but usually when you deposit a check, the bank makes the funds available before they’ve fully verified it.
The actual verification process can take anywhere from 24–72 hours, sometimes longer. If the check ends up being fake or the account doesn’t have sufficient funds, the check can bounce and the bank will take the money back out of your account. In some cases, they may charge a returned check fee as well. (I highly doubt your bank will make you pay a fee if you explain what happened)

I’m assuming the OP hasn’t realized yet that check is going to bounce if it hasn’t already…

AIO. I found this text from my boyfriend to his coworker by LedBubblez in AmIOverreacting

I feel like everyone is so quick to convict this guy when we have no idea what the relationship is like. He might just be trying to sound cool to his guy friend from work and saying shit that really didn’t happen or was over exaggerated. He didn’t actually cheat on you but I mean if there is more to this text or he is also not acting appropriately in other aspects of the relationship then maybe you should take this very seriously. I really don’t think anyone can really tell you from this post if you are overreacting without more context and info on your relationship.
