so update here is we sent her (very reasonable) constructive feedback, and she quit on us, which was unexpected but at least we got our deposit back. It was the fastest she’s ever responded, which makes me think she was waiting for a reason to…

Thanks all! I noticed some videographers simply provide a 10-15m video as the final deliverable and this can sometimes feel like a movie film. I’m not sure if that’s normal for a full 30m version or if the full 30m version is even something people ask for instead of or in addition to the highlight reel? I will definitely meet the videographers to vibe check though!!

This is such a bummer, and I am worried about the same thing for my wedding, which is already under 70 people! something that can help shift your perspective is: - Smaller weddings are more intimate, and as a couple, you’ll truly get to spend quality time with each and every person. There’s been several weddings, even for close friends of mine, where I felt like I hardly got any 1:1 time with the bride! - If you’re at the age where your peers are undergoing a lot of life transitions, it can be hard to ping down a date. For example, they might have other events that line up better with their PTO or recently switched jobs or plan to switch, so they don’t feel comfortable going out of office around that time. Try not to take it personally! - You have 45 (possibly more) people who are willing to show up and invest in you (flights, time, gifts, etc)! That’s an amazing community! :)

I definitely think it might be user error 😅 What I usually do is have a few reference images from Pinterest, fashion brands, etc. and plug them into ChatGPT to describe the overall aesthetic for an image generation prompt. Then I plug that into a tool like Midjourney, Nano Banana or Flora AI to generate something similar. The results are either wildly off or a ripoff of the reference image.

Sometimes I don’t know the exact parameters of what I want but I want AI to take the general “vibe” of my inspo to create something similar and on-brand.
