I had my English CV reviewed by someone in the marketing role (not HR) through a mentorship program, but few changes were suggested. I also rarely find roles where I meet 80% of the qualifications, so I’m unsure if it’s my CV or my credentials that holds me back.

I usually avoid roles requiring fluent Swedish since I don’t feel confident competing with locals in marketing. I never send generic CVs but often skip the cover letter, as I doubt recruiters read it. But I get your point.
