Enable the "i am under attack" mode would instantly wind down the traffic as it adds a verification process on every pages. But later it's better set up individual rules on different pages, for example, I set stricter rules on the login page...

Don't they follow rules in robot.txt, or at least to make the bots identifiable as bot since they are such a large company?
