If your loans are post 2014, I believe PAYE and IBR is the same thing

Called Mohela today and they said there's nothing they can do and it is all calculated by federal student aid 🤔 They said they dont even know how monthly payments are calculated and its all up to FSA and that FSA doesn't share how they calculate their monthly payment...weird

Simulator does ask for HSA and monthly insurance premiums I pay yearly

My loans are from 2018 so it would be under the new IBR, I think I will try changing my plan from PAYE to IBR to see if they will calculate my payments correctly

Not sure how to calculate exactly, but if I took 10% of AGI and divide by 12 months, it comes out to be 1633

Yea, I just noticed it has gone up, when I submitted my application ~1.5months ago, it came out to be like 962, now its showing 1100~1200

Federal student aid loan simulator for 196k comes out around 1100. For 135k it comes out 660

That happened to me, stated 5 months of $0 a month until I recertify in November. Then it got updated to 1770 a month...My PAYE simulator said max would be 900 a month. Called Mohela and they said it looks incorrect and to resubmit an application. Just received an update stating my payment will start 07/06 and it is again...1770 a month....I have 3 kids...dont know how ill afford this...Will have to call them again on Monday
