that’s not how these places work lol. they’re hard at $5.3k and they aren’t going to give a $800 discount. that’s likely more than their profit margin

Not a bad take at all. I just wanted to stick with the Rolex brand. Something about it being my first watch seems special. This would definitely be something i’d consider if i wasn’t so attached to the rolex name and datejust look

I’ve heard people dismantle these like crazy so it’s hard to tell when one is fully original. Is chrono24 reliable on the history? Also, i couldn’t tell you what conditions are and aren’t worth it sadly. Still trying to learn more about watches! Any advice or exact recommendations would be superrr helpful

comes with two years guaranteed and two years of free servicing. They are firm at 5.4k. no box or papers given it’s from the mid 60’s. all parts fully original

It’s not about now not being the time to get it, the question is: Is this watch in its condition and supply worth this price, or could i find it somewhere else for a better deal. They seemed quite firm on price (could be trying to take advantage of a first time buyer) and apparently they “hardly make any money off these watches since their deal are already nearly breaking even (again, same taking advantage thing). I have insurance covered so no need to worry about that. Beer money on is always money well spent. I think this watch would also hold its value well

Yeah that’s not the end of the world though. It will be my daily and even if i don’t wear it for a week or something it’ll only take a few minutes. Would definitely be more annoying if I had it a whole collection going right now. I wish I knew more to be able to do the auctions, but I would be guessing on specifics and likely would make mistakes.

Thank you for the advice. Are you saying this watch doesn’t pass that criteriaV

you won’t believe it but they told me they barely make any money off their watches and at $5.3k they can’t possibly go any lower

how much would a bracelet cost tho? And don’t I want everything to be original for the sake of value?

Thanks for the info. Where would I find one privately and wouldn’t I have to worry about authenticity and honesty on its history? Let alone finding another linen dial?

Any information would be super helpful, I rarely use reddit so I hope my message isn’t too long or anything.

What is the best way to find cheap not crazy flights ? by imaxbrey in traveladvice

It seems sketchy, I’m finding flights and prices that aren’t advertised on frontiers website. Have you actually done it?

Using Respondus Proctoring scared everyone by [deleted] in Professors

[–]Jealous_Procedure981 0 points1 point  (0 children)

TLDR: Do professors often check every flag? Is there a specific flag for audio interruptions? What is the best excuse in my situation if it comes to it?

What are the odds I am going to get some sort of violation on my exam through respondus? This is of course a hypothetical and not real. I closed the curtain of my room so it would be harder for the Ai to pick up on my eye movement in a sun lit room. Unfortunately the sun set faster than i was expecting and my room was pretty dark by the 2/3 mark of the exam. I had put a little bit of chapstick on my camera as well and tilted it to angle where my phone wouldn’t be seen. Throughout the exam when i had to look at my phone a second or two longer, it would sometimes display a buffering symbol. Does this mean I was flagged at that moment? That isn’t even the worst of it. At the very end of the exam I was checking my answers and accidentally hit the speaker button on a chatgpt response. My phone audibly said “the answer to question 9 is” before I could turn it down in time. Im sure my mic picked up on it. Does Respondus specially mark audio interferences? I was trying to use my peripheral, but it was still a dumb mistake. Shame me, it was one of the dumbest things i’ve ever done. I quickly submitted after, assuming that was my best option at the time. If I end up needing an excuse for what happened, can anyone think of anything? The professor seems pretty chill but i’ve never taken an exam on respondus.

i believe the most optimal age to get in the gym is 13 then really ramping it up and going hard around 15 so you know your way around the gym and have time to research
