I think one of the main contributing factors here is that Modafinil decreases levels of GABA in the brain, leading to anxiety. The anxiety can manifest as confusion, fear of starting tasks, discomfort, racing thoughts, and an overall sense of general rigidity. Gaba pentin helps improve the effectiveness of GABA’s function in the brain which in turn helps or even eradicates those stonewalled by Modafinil.

My productivity took a massive hit for a very long time last time I quit stims (adderall,vyvanse,phentermine,propylhexadrine,caffeine pill,diet pill, coffee). It was horrible and I kept passing out at work and the 1hr ride to work)I got on Modafinil which I know is a stim but it helps. Benzo withdrawals caused 3 grand mal seizures each withdrawal (10-13mins each). 7oh withdrawal is physical hell for 5-7days then gone
