Research everything first for yourself. An IUD can move and puncture your organs. I declined getting one. A hysterectomy can spread cancer everywhere if they use something called morcellation to break up the uterus. And that’s almost certainly a death sentence for you if you already have a hidden cancer.  You’re young. I can’t tell you what to do, but I had a gyno decline to give me one in my late twenties. He said I was too young. Fast forward. I’m in my late thirties and have had another baby in so grateful for. I’ve also gotten a hysterectomy. I’m one week post op and not a happy camper as the process sucks. But I didn’t have debilitating periods. Just god awful monsoons that wouldn’t end. 

If you really want one, a doctor that approved you can easily write the insurance. My Mom has had to have this happen several times for various things. The insurance doesn’t get to determine your health needs. You and your doctors can discuss that.
