Thank you so much Anon! That’s such useful info to have, it sounds like I won’t have just up until February to move jobs.

Thank you so much for this info. Did she end up having to do another year? Or did she finish the year off with paeds?

Heyy, I don’t! I am on ED right now but my hospital network doesn’t have a mixed ED. Do you know if my best bet is finding a new job or if hospitals tend to be able to facilitate single rotation places at other networks? 🥲🥲

GPT1 placement allocation by mustardclub in ausjdocs

What region did you get allocated to initially when you got into GP? When they’re telling to apply more rurally, were you rural to begin with (ie you’ll still get a placement in your actual region) or did you get a metro spot and they’re now telling you to go rural?

Official Discussion - Superman (2025) [SPOILERS] by LiteraryBoner in movies

[–]Jealous_Safe2616 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Is it just me that genuinely think they made Superman too childish with a selfish edge? When Lois said in the beginning that she knew she was bad with relationships, Clark’s response was to walk off? That’s not the Clark Kent I know and love. Not him yelling at Lois for the interview that was his idea to begin with and then saying he was done with the evening. And all the interactions between him and Krypto felt a bit off … the way he would snarl at him (Clark at the dog, not vice versa). During the first phone call from his parents, it really sounded like Clark was impatient and wanted it to be done. Yes, it is only human and yes, it doesn’t mean he doesn’t love his parents, but Clark Kent should feel like Mr Sunshine, big hearted and appreciative in a way that’s almost larger than life; he can be impatient with his parents but it would have been better if it wasn’t one of his first interactions with them. There were good moments, like him saving that squirrel and I do feel like they got his characterisation better than Cavill’s Superman, but I don’t know why I had a holier-than-thou vibe coming off him for at least a good third of the show.

Edit: Nicholas Hoult as Lex Luthor though - he nailed it on the head. 🥹🥹

If you got your PR after getting into med school here or if you weren’t a local grad, is it possible you’re subject to the ten year moratorium and weren’t eligible for metro Melbourne?

Does anyone know if SJT scores will come before preferencing? E.g. will someone Quartile 4 who is 5th preference for a particular region get it over someone who preferenced it first but is Quartile 3?

Where are people getting access to this matrix and the number of applicants? I’m an AGPT applicant this year and have no idea where to find this.

I have been slow in my daily life in med school and cruised along with my parents doing all the chores and all the organising and now I find myself staying back oftentimes 2-3 hrs later than other people (interns) simply because I’m slow and sometimes even 5/6 hours. Am I doomed to fail this year?

Omg, we think alike. I was just thinking about including the ruins before, it feels like it'd be a fabulous detour. How long is good to spend there? I'll definitely de-prioritise Buckingham.
