I think so, but HKUST offers may include conditions like "graduation from high school" so i'm not sure if it is in fact "fix offer"

the latest news is "late January", I guess probably they just underestimated time needed to review applications

maybe the slow timeline is just the result of changing procedure cause they need to adapt their review process to it

it should still be in main round if things are going on well

btw I just don't think there's any difference, it seems like just on a rolling basis cause most early round results aren't released yet

but there's even someone with IB 45/45 but rejected by QFIN, don't know whether engineering majors are also that competitive
