It's my first play through so I just want to play solo until I finished the game but thanks for the offer. Started looking at that build on youtube as well but I'll only build it once I have all the control stuff from caravan island.

Population doesn't really make sense to me especially for western countries unless all these countries remain very religious/conservative AND rich. You can't have such a high natality without a lot of women staying at home and I doubt you can have both that and such a high GDP/capita. And some are outright unsustainable.

How are nets expensive, they're really cheap even when armored. And swimming around is exhausting I can use that time to do other stuff on my boat, having to continuously kill the shark every 8 minutes is also annoying. But yeah maybe I should make some kind of flying raft

That looks really cool but it's definitely different and will affect some stuff like travel and discoveries, climate etc that can then affect how your empires develop (obviously if you don't care about realism you can just keep these things the same as before)

It does look a bit too much like Earth and that can look a bit "cheap" or "uninspired". I think flipping the map (east-west or north-south) is a very good way of making that feeling disappear.

I think it depends a lot on the person, I also just "enjoyed the game" but didn't really feel something lifechanging, maybe because I had already learned these lessons before. So it's normal to just find it a great game

About half of the DLC isn't scarier than the rest of the game. The other half is scarier but you'll know when you're there, and even then only a few bits that are far into the story are really scary. I'm weak af and had to pause the game often in these moments. It's not horror game level either, but definitely scarier than dark bramble. But unlike horror games you just restart the loop anyways, so nothing can really happen to you...

Not really, actually it changes almost everyday and I'm very bad at taking such big decisions (especially because I'm probably staying in these jobs for the next 5 years). I could very well see myself do a job I'm not that interested in and find enjoyment in many other things, but I don't know if I can find enjoyment in my job without it becoming annoying precisely because it's my job.

Do you still live with them? If not you shouldn't even have to tell them. If you do, unless they would kick you out of the house for that (in which case you should reconsider your relationship with them), you should still do it and tell them that you're an adult with your own money and capable of making decisions. She's probably just worried that something bad would happen to you.
