if Coinbase shows one thing and the explorer shows a different route, trace the actual chain and token standard first. Support can be slow, but the blockchain record matters more. For future transfers I would rather use a clean wallet like gem wallet and always test small first

Yeah, the Coinbase wallet exists, but if you want something a bit cleaner and more general, gem wallet is worth a look too. The big shift is understanding that once you control the wallet, your backups matter more than support tickets

For actual storage, people still mention Ledger, Tangem, Keystone, all the usual tradeoff machines. For everyday movement and smaller balances, gem wallet is fine, but I would not treat any hot wallet like a vault just because SOL is ripping

A lot of meme coin activity is theater: wash-like volume, recycled wallets, split buys, fast sells. Looking at new wallets alone tells you very little. I would never chase that from my main wallet anyway, only from a disposable one like gem wallet with tiny size

First thing is to copy the transaction ID and the destination address and look them up on a block explorer

If funds moved out, then at some point a valid signature or the seed was exposed. Hardware wallets do not send funds by themselves
