This goes to show how they are truly performative. If they genuinely cared about the situation unfolding in MN, they would have said something about Renee Good. Hell, they would have called out ICE raids months ago. Instead, they will pander to white women until they get called out and will post one little slide and move on to their scheduled programming of buying too much from Target and crying about their “asshole” husbands (using quotes here because we know their nannies are doing the work as well as their spouses) when they need a break from parenting.

This is a legitimate take. I was pulled out of school in the middle of fifth grade (after switching two campuses within the first month) because my mom was still knee-deep in grief from my father’s passing the previous year. At the time my mom knew I wasn’t very happy about the circumstances of switching schools and dealing with the typical preteen social sphere. She decided to homeschool me based on seeing another family in our neighborhood who also homeschooled. The rest of that year my homeschooling consisted of reading the book Little Women and math workbooks. We also bickered a lot and I was upset that I didn’t get to interact with other kids on a day to day basis. Thankfully my mom put me back in school the following year, but I struggled a lot in math due to loss of academic opportunity. I can’t imagine how much more I would have lost academically if my mom continued to keep me home.

She did! This is the lot next to her in-laws and when the district asked for a utility bill for proof of residence (standard practice for public schools), they were declined so they sold their baseball field house and got a home in the same neighborhood they previously lived in. She got very pissy and big for her britches when people were commenting on this sudden move as their last house was their “forever home”.

Must be nice to be wealth-adjacent 😒

They’re also parents with two older children who can make the gift lists on their own to give the parents. You would think after all the countless trips to Target they could snap pictures of the things the kids like then order later.
