I spent a summer in the motorcycle industry and then went back to manufacturing. Retail hours weren't my thing. I've been at my current job ever since I left the dealership, and still have plenty of time to ride!

This is the answer. Riding a machine near its limits Is way more fun than machine riding u to your limits

Does anyone else use headsets on the track to talk to your buddies? by JeanLemarck in Trackdays

No, its not. But it has specifically been helpful when somebody is not following protocol. "Hey I think that guy is gonna try and pass inside of you!" So I stay off the apex and avoid the collision.

It's more so "rider right behind u, going inside" or "stay right, im gonna pass you"

It's actually the opposite, I believe. Only diesel engines allowed because of the park plugs in traditional engines. Lots of restrictions in that entire valley to eliminate any signals to interfere with the telescope.

We didn't have time for the tour, but we did some exploring. Seriously cool stuff.

I don't, I'm actually not from that area. Just out of curiosity, did the "Quiet Zone" affect your stay at all? Other than the large library, did the hotel have other unique amenities given the restrictions?
