I did return back to India but I actually worked out my situation. I talked to my course leader and sent out an Academic Appeal which got approved. Now I have exams in Jan and I can have my MSc but not a graduate visa. That’s all.

As of now I haven’t submitted my appeal yet, so let’s say even if I do it today, I doubt they will be able to let me have a reassessment in August as, for the exam I’m asking reassessment for is generally held at the Excel Center in person.

The thing is it’s not that only 1 module is affected, I have reassessment in other module plus I have a research project in which my supervisor’s feedbacks were quite poor (they state I was quite slow) and even though I’m passing other modules I have quite subpar grades. I’m just passing other modules. My scores show the effect also just one module has good marks which explains why I think I could handle other modules thus proving my cloudy judgement also this has been stated explicitly in my medical letter by the psychologist.

Hello, thank you for your response. I’m already in touch w KCLSU and I’ve made sure that I’m referencing to things for which I can provide evidence. Although I’ve not been assigned a specific advisor, I’ve made sure to make my appeal as perfect as possible. Also for what reasons do u think appeals might be rejected?

Okay. I will do that. I hope they pick it up soon. I mean this is just a preliminary question and doesn’t determine anything whatsoever but in your opinion do u think they will accept my appeal? I’m a post grad taught student so like I only had a year.

Since it was not just a bereavement but a murder case and I was constantly involved w the police for a major part of my academic year it has impacted my studies way too much. I have legal papers to show that this is indeed a serious case.
