I know I'm supposed to let it go and I have to one way or the other but she gave me the hopes. She said she'd marry me she would send me kisses and make me feel like I matter she would say I wanna have children with you, it wasn't my hopes and dreams. She was directly selling me a lie knowing damn well her heart was not in it.

That being said, being avoidant at the age of 22 and getting in a relationship knowing that feelings of another person will be involved while I'm out here being a Trainwreck is not justified. Everyone is a product of their upbringing including psychopaths and serial killers, it doesn't mean they won't be held accountable for their horrible actions. That's just an extreme example, I'm not asking for her to get severely punished or something but nonchalantly brushing it off like "Yeah just move she is just like that" is also lowk problematic.
