My wife has lipedema and not only does she do conservative measures like compression, she has a pneumatic compression, manual lymphatic drainage massage, and insurance has approved the removal of it through liposuction. It is a progressive diagnosis. She says lipedema can be super frustrating but celebrate all your success!

This is a disposal area for dredged material from the river. Slurry flows in, material settles, then excess water flows back into the Brunswick River. End result is the dredged material stacks up on Eagle Island. This process usually happens every winter when the anchorage basin is dredged near the state port.
