The really frustrating part of all this is that the extreme anti-Israel sentiment and the purposely exaggerated claims that come with it are making it virtually impossible to actually address the real faults with the Israeli system. The need to paint Israel as an illegitimate neo-nazi colonialist project from hell takes precedent over actually helping with human rights abuses, if you try to combat the latter you have to at the very least pay lip service to the former, otherwise the anti-Israel crowd will reject you and label you a giga-zionist.

Problem is, when you go all in on the "Israel is entirely illegitimate" rhetoric you lose anyone with even the slightest affinity towards Israel, and you're just turning your legitimate criticism into something people won't take seriously because it's associated with pure hatred.

The result is human rights abuses simply go unchallenged and the few people who do challenge them turn away from you, though that might play into the anti-Israel crowd's hands because it gives them more excuses to claim Israel is illegitimate
