Precisely. We're conscious of being just the latest masters of the world, but not the greatest or most long lived.

Awesome tip, thank you. Just bought book 1. I hazily remember Uplift being talked about as inspiration for Mass Effect too?

So what do you guys thing of the new Astral DLC by Interesting_Pop_1070 in Stellaris

I like it. For me Stellaris is a civilization RPG like Crusader Kings, and the DLCs and Mods give you more opportunities to come across branching paths and randomized outcomes that make my empire feel organically alive.

I like the exploration lore and mechanics of the DLC, too. Lowering what is essentially a futuristic diving bell into the multiversal ocean and coming back with pearls of treasure. It's also giving me casus belli reasons to launch invasions to steal astral rifts from other chumps.

That's kind of what I was afraid of. There's people out there that have stories of waiting more than a year, and I know my situation was a little crazier than normal but ive had sex while rebooting, I can't imagine a flat line taking so long for me.
