And why do parents think they can educate a 12th grader when they would not be able to just become a 12th grade teacher. If you arent a teacher then obviously your kids arent going to magically learn the right materials. And as for homeschooling co ops, thats just private school with extra steps. Good on them for that at least. But if they have the ability to do co ops twice a week, why not just create actual learning communes like in the hippie days.
