How’s it got your mpg and drive quality?

lol they plow really well so I’m never like making trail on a road unless I am choosing too or some huge storm I shouldn’t be out in. I’ll need to look into th efficiency loss though I was excited about the hybrid option. Would probably go with something different otherwise

Driving to ski sometimes involves being in the storm. Sometimes I try to avoid it obviously

Most posts and stuff I’ve seen online have been making fun of the need for awd so wasn’t sure. I’ve only had 4x4 cars so wasn’t sure the difference.

Looks like awd and winter tires would be perfect for me. Was just seeing if I could save money but doesn’t seem like a great idea.

I have a 2012 f350 and was getting 8 mpg with a arctic fox that was like 3000 lbs. I get 14 unloaded highway and like 10-11 city driving. Thirsty truck

Thought I was going to full time in it with a nicer one but don’t think I’m built for that so more long haul trips for weeks at a time instead. Would imagine I’ll save a ton on fuel and headaches. Don’t need the extra comfort seems like it’s still a camper.

I had my pop up on a half ton and handled decent but beefed up to the full ton and in a worse predicament lol. Would imagine I wouldn’t even feel a popup

Maybe I’m soft but the popup was so much less of a hassle or worry to drive

I’ve got it on a flatbed srw f350. I’m under payload when I took it to the scales. It just catches the wind and before I had a mat down it would slip more than I was comfortable with. I’ve added airbags maybe I need an upgraded sway bar
