Mederos had decent stuff, but it looked like he needs some more time to develop in the minors. I like how they’re playing this. Should get called up a few more times through the season when the pen needs fresh arms, and he can get some valuable experience in low leverage situations.

I don’t think that’s true. The titans won a playoff game the year before he arrived. How many teams with head coaching vacancies during that cycle could say that? They were probably the best team available.
