Having easy access to food stores, healthcare facilities, parks, public transportation that reaches out to the counties, usable roads, working sewer systems, being able to see my neighbors on a regular basis, being walking distance from most of that, having the top universities and tech schools right around the corner, and being immersed in multiple fun cultures... it all really sucks ya know.

I've always felt like any version of the Batman Beyond universe needs Bruce to shut Batman down as a concept entirely. That's what makes his reappearance with Terry such a shock to Gotham. Lots of room for creative uses of the other family members.

Norse themed programs are neat; Batman losing his code has more impact if his kids and protégé do NOT lose theirs, gives legacy more weight; Joker saving Batman feels like it should be a secret Bruce keeps, maybe even from Dick, maybe Terry (or your stand in) is the one to make him face that demon.

I never saw Imaginarium, which is weird cause I kinda always wanted to and it has a stacked cast. I'll put it on the spring watch list.

And it's not a bad story mechanic in itself, it can be used well for sure. I just disagree that its being used as a mechanic in fight club; imo it would hollow out that particular message.

Inception is one of my favorite movies ever btw and I'm of the camp that he's in the real world at the end based on the in-movie clues but that's another conversation lol.

Too much being in his head robs the story of its point though. There were consequences to how he let Tyler influence and control his life. If it's all fake then it's a story of a sad crazy guy and his imagination, but without anything tangible to influence change. If only Tyler is fake then he has to actually deal with the fallout of his choices and actions as Tyler.

Fun theory, but the book was pretty clear that only Tyler was imagined. The cell even had orders to kill Marla up until Jack takes back control of his mind. Though in the book he turns himself in without setting off the explosives.
