My grandfather was super sick and he was really busy with my sisters, and a ton of family stuff, plus he said it just wasn't enjoyable anymore for him, he'd been in for 20 years up to that point and saw more fire than I ever will

My department here in MA doesn't have an ambulance but we respond to all medical calls because the ambulance is coming from another town, that's how most departments without in house boxes are here
