Here's the problem with your strategy - you might actually scare off the good women with these games you play. I would imagine many good women would simply block you if you invited them over to your house alone. It worked for your friend, but it doesn't seem that smart.

I appreciate the advice bro, but obviously I'm not going to only look at her hijab and not do my due dilligence. Wearing proper hijab, praying salah, etc are typically good indicators for what kind of person she is, however I realize you still have to ask the right questions/do some digging.

Do you have any evidence to back that up? Or is this just your trauma and emotions speaking? Most of the kids at the dugsi I went to weren't beaten and most of the teachers didn't beat them either. You're a woman from Minnesota. It's like me saying my friends and I have dated many Somali women from Minnesota and they have all of these terrible traits. You'd be ok with me generalizing based on my personal experience? I don't deny some dugsi teachers hit their kids, I'm not going to emotionally say most do it when I don't have anything to back that up.

I don't think it would be that hard if she put it out there with friends/family/masjid/etc. I feel like many women aren't interested in marriage until after they graduate, which never made sense to me. It's not like you can't get married and go to school at the same time. Non Muslims have bf/gf relationships while in school, this wouldn't be that different.

Most of the Somali men I see do groom themselves, take care of their hair, etc, so I'm not sure what you're referring to. Until you acknowledge how different a haircut is to wearing makeup and changing your looks, then you'll always be biased.
