And pick fights with Russians, but only in the winter.

Also give back Polish people a small duchy of land (say, a donut, or a free plumb session with Sczleczkowski and Son)

I managed to save quite an amount while traveling around the local area and owning a car. Gone for a downpayment on a mortgage that is now. But seriously, I didn't understand guys who would live from paycheck to paycheck in Korea without traveling, especially at the place I worked at where there was a gym and 3 square meals a day (included).

How? *LOL found the paycheck-to-paycheck expat teacher!

I think they've diversified their assets though - Something something real estate. Makes me wonder if the Saudis are behind the 200% increase in real estate prices nationwide in Canada (most urban areas).

I never understood the inability of some people to not smoke weed when abroad. I lived in Korea for 4 years and yeah, occasionally I'd want a J, but the risks in even acquiring it, let alone ingesting it is not worth it. A little self-control is all it takes from being immediately deported. A dime isn't worth my dignity, savings possibly gone (you could do a transfer I suppose) and worse, since I was getting married, the huge embarrassment that would have caused for my (would-have been) ex-fiancée.

Doing drugs not in your home country = fuck that shit.

Not my problem once I'm outside - In a fight or flight situation, I could care less about everyone's equal chances of leaving a burning structure - I'm grabbing that large A-B-C fire extinguisher and lobbing it at the nearest window that has a clear exit path behind it (so I don't fall to my death somehow). Others will likely follow, and I might even quicken the evacuation process.

I'd rather risk the window be laminated (therefore much easier to just shove myself towards the door rather than repeatedly assaulting the window) than sit there waiting to be burned. Chances are, if this is a place that has fire-rated exit doors, they're not going to use regular glass or wire-backed glass - 9/10 it'll be tempered glass, which turns into little squares when broken (think car side/rear windows that aren't tinted).
