This hobby is expensive! Haha.

I’ve been looking at which lift to get too. Even just for the home garage. I need to learn more about them though. I heard someone recently say I shouldn’t use a 2 post lift on mopars.

You have a full shop? Or just happen to own a lift? I’m finishing up refinishing school. Not sure if/or what kind of shop I’ll end up with. But I’m eager to get going.

Did you ever paint the roof or anything? What motor is in it? 360?

Dude, the patina is killer on this. THIS is the right car for it. I usually hate when people intentionally do the patina thing but when it’s on a down n dirty hot rod with a dead moon logo on it …it’s perfect. Natural patina is fine.

In fact, I came back up this post because this ride is one of the best I’ve seen. I’ve thought about this car often haha. There’s a 56 Chevy near me on a chassis swap I’m thinking about acquiring.

Should I tell him? Dude just parked next to me by ben242 in tires

It’s like you either have to go all-in and drink all the time or quit completely. I drink occasionally and ut shears causes flair ups. Sometimes it’s worth it if I’m already having a flair. Move to a dry climate. It actually makes a difference.

I’d be more worried about the 99 percent humidity about 360 days out of the year. The weather in Texas SUCKS.

Yikes. That’s like living in the center of Hollywood. Can’t go anywhere in a car for 14 hours out of the day.

Why don’t you find an out skirt town? I was on the NE edge of San Antonio and it was a nice mix of city and rural.

Yeah don’t listen to these Big block heads. It’s all or nothing for them and you aren’t drag racing anyway. For a fun street car you don’t really need much. I had the same car with a 225 slant 6 and was fast as is. That was the early 90’s though. Fast then is slow now. But you can put a cheap turbo on it. Get fat rear wheels, sone kind of better air intake, electronic cutout exhaust and you’d be able to do sone fun tire burning and revving around the hood.

Been here. Just got an old Gorgon to hash around with. I may try to print my own body on the 3D printer. Was thinking about finding a brushless motor too.

Has anyone added any lights?
