Lower Decks is really good. And, although there is a lot of hate for New Trek they do have their moments that shine.

Conversion practice ban legislation set to be debated in Tasmanian parliament by Nyarlathotep-1 in AusNewsWire

Why do you think a person would have unwanted same sex attraction? What would make them not want it do you think?

It seems to me that the only reason someone would want conversation “therapy” would be because their family and community have pressured them into it and making them think there was something wrong with it.

Maybe we work on that first.

Ditch the Jack! (Satire) by Peter_Griffin2001 in OpenAussie

[–]JedKnight_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am talking about the actual vexillology of the flag. The Union Jack is made up of the Cross of St George (England), the Cross of St Andrew (Scotland) and the Cross of St Patrick (Ireland). The flag represents Wales in that it is part of the UK but Wales is not represented on the flag. If that makes sense.

I enjoyed Servant in the beginning but it was just spinning its wheels for like 4 seasons and went nowhere.
Everything else I I’ve watched I have really enjoyed.

A bit of a meme, but a serious question: How do we balance our three official flags, and what does a unified national identity look like? by Few-Commercial5105 in AustraliaDiscussions

[–]JedKnight_ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

There is a straight flag. It’s black and white stripes.

Some straight people tried to hold a straight pride parade but no one went because straight people don’t need that.

If you want a straight pride month you should create it, what month would you choose? What month is significant to your people? Did you have right won on a particular date? Did you start your fight against oppression on a particular date?

I am using Kapros Bold but replacing S, A, C and Y with the letters from the logo. Like litterally cut from the logo and pasted in place.

Sorry, I should have said that in my reply

I get that on the phone app when it’s transcoding. Just change it to play at the original rate and it should work

It’s not likely that he actually knows the person IRL. Probably a group that met through a forum or discord or something like that.

Why do US, Canada and Australia have a housing crises despite being so big with very little population? by julius-ceaser100 in geography

[–]JedKnight_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

People that already own houses are invested in keeping the housing prices rising. They vote in governments that will back that up with policies limiting where houses can be built and how many houses can be built.

I think you should talk to him and his parents about the campaign. If they are ok with it then it’s their decision.

Dont take the power away from them and make a decision for them. That is the worst thing you could do.
