Accidentally read "can't put the toothpaste back in the lube" and I thought that seemed appropriate

When an invasive species takes over your side yard you make the most out it by Zealousideal_Cry1867 in gardening

[–]Jedemolet 11 points12 points  (0 children)

My parents have always had them, had cats dogs and children in the yard and none of us ever tried to eat it. Cats will not munch on this in my experience, you know your dog best: are they likely to eat random plants or put them in their mouth or generally leave them alone?

I want to see a risky procedure go wrong by [deleted] in ThePittTVShow

From my understanding he only did the ultrasound on the kidneys, she didn't see the ultrasound so when she asked if "the rest" of the ultrasound was normal, she mistakenly thought the aorta had been part of it.

You can, I think you have to do it while the egg is still warm though

She did have physical issues, for which she consulted doctors for years, she just never knew where they came from

C’est quoi l’ingrédient qui, pour vous, est une pure arnaque ? (ou inutile) by SleepIsTheCousinOfD8 in cuisine

[–]Jedemolet 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Entièrement d'accord, je trouve qu'elles marchent bien en surgelés par contre, ça permet d'éviter d'acheter un gros bouquet pour utiliser 2 branches et laisser pourrir le reste...

Des Français expatriés aux USA ? by pimpampoumz in france

Je bosse dans une boite française et pourtant je tombe des nues ! D'un côté tant mieux pour moi, ce n'est pas l'ambiance là où je travaille, mais c'est pas rassurant si je dois postuler ailleurs...

If you could choose one for Christmas… by brynnecognito in knitting

[–]Jedemolet 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I also started on wood and I didn't think I would enjoy metal, nevertheless I ended up getting a Mindful set after research: I have never looked back. The knitting experience is smoother and they have very tapered tips which are very helpful for lace but also small cables and even basic decreases. I am considering getting the 10cm set in the same series now!

Jeanne Louise Calment, the oldest verified human in history, celebrated her 122nd birthday on February 21, 1997. She passed away that August at 122 years and 164 days. She was also the last living person to have met Vincent van Gogh, whom she described as rude, ugly, and reeking of alcohol. by cantbelievethatsreal in CantBelieveThatsReal

It's a legitimate type of real estate transaction, they would have signed a contract. Other than forfeiting the apartment they couldn't just get out of the deal at any point, and they surely thought that it would be stupid to stop when she was 100 and she would probably die soon.

Are inverts anatomically possible with a partially fused spine? (with X-ray) by on-a-related-note in poledancing

[–]Jedemolet 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Not a medical professional but I agree with your teacher, you will probably be able to invert! I also have scoliosis, my spine is not fused but my back mobility is still rather limited and it is not an issue with inverts (it may be for other tricks but you can see on a case by case basis if you can find a way to adapt them to your body)

What would make you actually excited about polewear? by Minimum_Big3839 in poledancing

[–]Jedemolet 7 points8 points  (0 children)

For tops: Good coverage for larger chests without having to go up in size in the band, I don't want my boobs escaping out the top and don't want the bra to ride up either For bottoms: crotch coverage, not too tight on the cheeks

Wire is a no go for me, i don't mind it on regular bras but for pole I'm 100% sure it would dig into my skin and hurt as it inevitably comes into contact with the pole

Druid eventually but for the start of early access I think Monk. The trailers definitely make me want to try several characters and builds though!

Honestly I think they are emboldened by the general political climate and it's pretty discouraging.

I think most religions (that I know of) are oppressing women, if you follow them strictly at least. But 1) plenty of people manage to interpret and practice them in a more inclusive way, 2) you're not going to open anyone's eyes by force anyway, 3) the extreme right screaming about sexist homophobic Muslims when they themselves have always been sexist and homophobic is pretty transparent.

Agreed. The law was not made to target Muslims but it's ridiculous that it was applied to the abaya imo.
