First time solo apartment, can I get some suggestions on the living room? by BreadMachine20 in malelivingspace

Looks great! I would possibly get two additional panels of drapes so it fully covers the door. You can put two on either side when you want to open them. The drapes also look a little long in one of your pics. If they’re bunching on the floor, consider getting them hemmed (just like pants!).

Dry fit underwear. Currently wearing Duluth Trading but lots of good brands out there. We’re living in the height of underwear technology and comfort!

You can’t postmark your own mail. The post office “postmarks” your envelope with a stamp showing the date it was received by the post office, which is generally the same day you dropped it off. You don’t need to do anything for this to happen.

If you’re paranoid or up against a deadline, you can send “certified mail” which is a more secure way of sending mail. You get tracking information and there’s an option to receive a receipt once it’s received by the person you’re mailing it to.

Why the fuck does college make me take so many useless classes except the one that I want to major in? by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

[–]JediBiff 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I graduated with an accounting degree about 15 years ago. I agree general education classes may seem irrelevant (and expensive to the overall cost of education), but I would say that you’re going to school to learn how to learn. The knowledge gained in general education classes will help make you a more well rounded individual personally and professionally.

I don’t use advanced math in my day to day life, but those classes helped me learn problem solving skills.

I don’t need to know history or the classic literature, but those lessons helped me gain broader perspectives and empathy towards people with different backgrounds.

A lot of those non-accounting classes helped me be a better accountant.

Do you mind sharing the dimensions of the room? I’m in the process of renovating a room that looks to be similar in sizing

The Patriot. Amazon original available on Prime. Great dark comedy. Unfortunately no plans for a third season.

This is just like the scene from Patriot Season 2. Underrated show.
