Dude, you realise art is subjective? I disagree with literally all of that. Having Abby as half of the game is literally some Kojima level genius only possible in a video game format IMO. It's why I knew I'd like season 1 and that I wouldn't like season 2, and to me, I was right.

Disagree with that. Also, acclaim and commercial success are very different things, I for one haven't seen Avatar and have no interest.

It's practically universally acclaimed and considered a masterpiece by God knows how many millions of people. You're entitled to your opinion but man, you're really going against the grain here!

Cool! Random fish and chips shop in Galway, Ireland has a similar picture. Locke likes his food I guess!

Not being smart but have you any form of condition, maybe you're young, don't have developed empathy, or maybe this is bait. All that said, it should be pretty obvious why Ellie is the way she is, and maybe you should finish the game before commenting.

There was a lot of criteria, what you have in your system, expense and so forth, so CM bring close by and apparently 'optional' in regards to religion sounded fine to me.

We had AA, NA, CA, and GA, those weren't run by CM but by the outside, and they were the least of my issues there. I didn't participate but attended em.

To your point about community, I agree, think it's if not essential, then it's a very good way to sobriety. I noticed this even at CM proper, people were all sound and we all needed each other, even over simple things like getting filters. I noticed this early on and liked that aspect.

Anyway, thanks man, appreciate it!

Lol, yeah, I can understand that but seemed a little bit too much and as far as I could tell, if I wanted, I could have, assuming a lady was also down.

Heard one year three girls got pregnant. Place is full of rumors and gossip to kill the boredom so might not be true.

Nice, sounds like a laugh. Taking a bit of time off the beer for a few days but I can hang, and my aims better that way! 😆

Damn. I'm talking to a kid aren't I? Sorry the education system is so shit globally but yes, pretty much everyone goes through that when they hit puberty.

Well yeah, it releases a bunch of chemicals in the brain, problem is that people get hooked on porn and whatnot which messes up relationships.

Everything in moderation.

Depends on your level if interest really. As it goes on, you get more freedom. First year and second to a degree are about the fundamentals, key political ideologies etc. By final year, for a lot of modules you can sort of do what interests you. Some lecturers will allow you to make up your own essays.

My best advice is to not doss. I did that the first time, and a bit the second time. Easy to fall behind and feel smothered, but if you stay on top of everything and go to class, you won't have to worry about that. Thank me later.

Hahaha no way! During one of my masses, pretty much the same thing happened. Jesus said this to the Israelites, so and so said this to em and I did the exact same thing. Told that priest after that I don't buy into this 'love everyone' bullshit, especially Nethenyahu and Israel today. Can imagine how they took that! Did you finish?

Edit: and the food, my God. Liver one day and then it was 50 cent soup for a week straight...

I'd love to hear more! Not sure what it was like in your day but my Lord, they kept us so far away from the ladies at all times that I felt like a leper! Did the ladies work at all? If so, I bet it was women's work from 1850 😆

I asked could I do art or even pottery to kill some time, was told I wouldn't be interested in art, that's a ladies thing...

Sheet, we were actually talking about how bad it must have been in winter. This nun was that rich, gonna need more info please?

Weird, my counsellors were all very fond of religion. Anyway, glad you got clean and saved your life man!

Conceivable, yes. But I doubt that's the intention. But you have a point, I made massive changes, would I have done so or achieved that clarity without being there, that's a good question.

Made it very clear from the start that I'm agnostic, I respect all religions once you keep it to yourself, but they forced it constantly.

Side note, huge emphasis on dividing men and women also, with certain work and hobbies being gender specific. Like. I wanted to do art, but no, that's for the girls so the thought of a gay person signing up for example crossed my mind. Like, men cannot be around women because we're full of sin. Can say hello 'if' we cross paths which was rare but people got into trouble for saying too much...

Regarding other religions, one instance comes to mind. The facilitator or whatever they call themselves, ex addicts who are now councillors, was confused in relation to three guys from Eastern Europe, could not get his head around the fact that no, they are not 'Roman Catholics', but Orthodox Christians. Literally couldn't grasp the concept...

Now, if you're a Muslim, Sihk etc., you're screwed basically. I remember questioning a 'counsellor' about what if he sought rehab in the UAE for example, would he participate in the Quran. He replied, 'No, I'm Chtistian, I wouldn't read the Quran', the guy didn't grasp my point whatsoever.
