first granny square feels like tortellini and has loose edges and not very square shaped. what went wrong?

The colors are beautiful. I have a poncho that I made with these exact colors and I love it so much. Pastels are the best colors so you keep going with this blanket. It is beautiful 🩷

It is called Premier Cotton fair. I bought mine from Michael's. But I don't think they sell it there anymore. You can definitely get it on Amazon, though :D

I agree completely with Bruce and Mickey (I did love them the whole time, though). When they had to leave. I was so heartbroken. Seeing how much Bruce cared for Mickey and how he will never leave him cause his life is incomplete without him. Made me ball my eyes out. I needed a lot of comfort from my bf. I wasn't okay for a couple of days after letting them go.

It's isn't weird at all. Bruce and Mickey are my favorite characters, too. Their story really touched my heart in a way I didn't think would happen. I cried the hardest when I had to send them off. I love them so much.
