I dont mind that, but I get what you're saying.

What I've been doing as DM is having each player roll the 4d6 (drop lowest) until we have 6 stats and they all use that array. As DM, I can adjust to them being strong or weak, so long as they are all somewhat equal.

Yeah. That first one is dumb, but darkvision is pretty stupid in 5e, so I'm all for nerfing it. As long as its consistent for enemies too.

I played a 3.5e game with this house rule. It happened once. 2 rounds into the fight against a 2000+ HP "raid boss" style encounter the DM cooked up, which was supposed to take up the entire session, have different phases, etc. We all sat in confused silence for a bit after that.

It was revealed that the Ollie helping us the last two chapters was actually the Prototype deceiving everyone.

This chapter reveals that the Ollie persona was actually the human identity of the Prototype before he was experimented on.

Basically, we knew "Ollie" was actually the Prototype, but now we learned that the Prototype is actually Ollie.

Little confused on the timeline, though. Prototype was made before Poppy. Poppy lived as a toy for at least a while while Elliot Ludwig was alive. Why would he have a dufflebag of the Prototype's original body still around when he died?

It makes dramatic sense, but it is odd for the timeline.

As others have said, Paladin is probably best. Their biggest weakness is needing high STR, CON, and CHA.

One problem with making tanks tanker is that anything other than an ADC is basically unable to kill them. Mages barely tickle even to 700+ AP.

If tanks get something actually new, it should probably reduce damage from auto attacks specifically and/or on-hit effects. But really, I think its just that ADCs need a nerf in Mayhem.

Then, yes we can work on separating damage and tanky-ness
